MicroStrategy’s Bitcoin Accumulation Accelerates

MicroStrategy has raised more than $25 billion in fiscal year 2025, using the funds to acquire approximately 225,000 Bitcoin. This strategy delivered a 22.8% annual Bitcoin yield for the company.

Expansion Plans via Digital Credit

Executives outline plans to issue $6 billion to $10 billion in digital credit annually. These efforts aim to expand the yearly Bitcoin yield by 5% to 14%. The company continues to prioritize structured digital credit to boost Bitcoin holdings per share.

Financial Commitments and Reserves

Preferred equity offers an 11.25% dividend rate. A $2.25 billion cash reserve provides coverage for more than two years of obligations. Total Bitcoin holdings exceed 713,000 coins, purchased at an average cost of $76,000 each, resulting in $17.5 billion in unrealized losses for the fourth quarter.

Ongoing Risks and Dependencies

Annual interest and dividend obligations total $888 million. This structure heightens reliance on Bitcoin price appreciation and continued access to capital markets to sustain operations and growth.
