The Alexander brothers—twins Oren and Alon, along with older brother Tal—face federal sex trafficking charges in Manhattan federal court. Prosecutors describe a pattern of predatory behavior spanning nearly two decades, from their high school days in Miami to recent years. The trio, now 38 and 39 years old, have pleaded not guilty to all 12 counts, including conspiracy to commit sex trafficking and inducement to travel for unlawful sexual activity.
From High School Flash to Celebrity Brokers
Even as teenagers at Michael Krop Senior High School, Oren, Alon, and Tal arrived at Miami parties in luxury car convoys equipped with DVD screens playing pornography, including their own recordings. Sons of Israeli-born millionaire property developers Shlomi and Orly Alexander, the brothers built reputations as jet-setting playboys.
Oren and Tal became top celebrity real estate brokers, known as the ‘A Team’ for closing multimillion-dollar deals. Clients included Liam Gallagher, Lindsay Lohan, Kim Kardashian, Kanye West, Ivanka Trump, Jared Kushner, and Tommy Hilfiger. In 2018, they helped Kanye West buy a $14 million Miami flat. The next year, they referred billionaire Ken Griffin to a £95 million London mansion and sold him a $238 million Manhattan penthouse—the priciest U.S. residence at the time.
Oren once bragged, ‘There’s not a person or a client we can’t get to.’ Tal emphasized their lifestyle: ‘You have to be in Saint-Tropez in July, Aspen in the winter, Hong Kong for Art Basel, Cannes for the film festival, Monaco for the Grand Prix.’
Allegations Surface: A ‘Playbook’ of Predation
Prosecutors allege the brothers used wealth to lure women with promises of luxury travel and parties, then drugged and assaulted them. Offenses reportedly date back to 2003, with victims as young as 13. The trial focuses on eight women, two underage at the time of high school incidents.
Victims describe a systematic ‘playbook’: Brothers approached models and aspiring models at clubs, parties, or online, flying them to private gatherings that turned into assaults. Spiked drinks incapacitated them, leading to sequential rapes—slang termed ‘running train.’ Oren’s high school yearbook listed his ‘favorite memory’ as ‘riding my first choo-choo train.’
One victim recalled, ‘There were no words needed or directions said. It was very routine for them.’ Another, assaulted by Oren in Miami, said he told her mid-act: ‘Stop crying, be quiet, you’re ruining it.’
Key Victim Testimonies
‘Katie Moore’ at Zac Efron’s Party
The first witness, using the pseudonym ‘Katie Moore,’ met Alon and Tal at actor Zac Efron’s New York home in 2012. After accepting ecstasy and drinks from Tal, she blacked out at a nightclub and awoke naked in Alon’s bed. He laughed when she protested, saying, ‘You already did,’ before assaulting her as Tal entered without acknowledgment. Alon texted her afterward: ‘I had a nice time with you last night.’
‘Maya Miller’ in the Hamptons
‘Maya Miller,’ now a Nevada nurse, testified Tal raped her in a shower at a $14 million Hamptons mansion in 2014. Invited via Instagram, she avoided spiked cocktails but was attacked the next morning. Tal said, ‘You wanted that,’ after wiping himself. An email from Tal to Alon beforehand called her and a friend ‘cheap hookers coming to the Hamptons.’
Other Accounts
Maylen Gehret, 17 at the time, described Alon drugging and raping her in Aspen in 2017. Lindsey Acree testified about Tal and another man assaulting her in the Hamptons in 2011.
Damning Texts and Videos
FBI-seized messages reveal contempt. A 2021 text from Oren to Tal: ‘We are on top of the game. Only thing can bring us down is some hoe complaining.’ In a 2016 ‘Lions in Tulum’ WhatsApp, they planned ‘imports’ of women, discussing GHB, fees ‘per bang,’ and ROI on flights.
One message: ‘Going to start collecting for the pot to fly bitches down.’ Oren: ‘Just want to make sure we get a good ROI.’ Videos shown include Oren filming a drugged 17-year-old; jurors reacted visibly.
Defense and Family Support
The brothers’ lawyers, including some from Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ case, argue all encounters were consensual and accusations stem from extortion attempts. One lawyer told jurors: ‘You’re here for a criminal case, not an a***hole contest.’
The family attends daily, showing unity. Oren’s wife, Brazilian model Kamila Hansen, supports him despite evidence. Locals recall warnings about the brothers’ bullying and predatory teen behavior. The trial, underway since last month, continues into early March.
