Bianca Censori Named as Witness in Contractor’s Suit Against Kanye West

A contractor involved in a legal battle with Kanye West seeks to have the rapper’s wife, Bianca Censori, testify as a witness. Tony Saxon, who launched the lawsuit in 2023, has requested a Los Angeles court order compelling the 31-year-old Australian architect to appear in the labor dispute, according to court documents. The case returns to court later this month.

Origins of the Dispute

The conflict traces back to September 2021, when West purchased an oceanfront Malibu mansion for over $57 million and pursued extensive renovations. Court filings detail how Saxon handled project management, property care, and security to meet West’s specific demands.

Saxon worked up to 16 hours daily, occasionally sleeping on the ground wrapped in his coat to stay on schedule. Tensions escalated in November 2021 after Saxon objected to orders to remove all windows and electrical equipment, creating hazardous conditions on the site.

State of the Incomplete Mansion

The property spans more than 4,000 square feet with four bedrooms and five bathrooms, offering stunning Pacific Ocean views. However, it lacks windows, walls, a roof, and electricity, leaving the project unfinished.

Representatives for West and Censori have not responded to requests for comment.
