Cardi B recently shared her enthusiasm for a luxurious new fragrance from Kayali, declaring it her latest favorite scent. In a video posted on the brand’s Instagram, the rapper unboxed a gift from founder Mona Kattan, revealing the Vanilla Candy Rock Sugar | 42 perfume.

Excitedly addressing the camera, Cardi B explained the gift’s origin: “Oh my god guys look what Mona Kattan from Kayali sent me! Look at this! She sent me this because of my SNL performance and she’s just so proud of me because of my tour and everything you know?”
While praising her usual pistachio fragrance, she highlighted this one’s appeal: “I love my pistachio smell but this one? So tea. It’s so sweet and it’s so soft. Look how pretty it is too. Y’all like my family and I really really love, love, love your product. It’s so beautiful and so sexy and it’s so long-lasting. This one is Vanilla Candy and it smells just like candy.”

Vanilla Candy Rock Sugar, available from £28 at Sephora, delivers a gourmand twist on candy aromas. It opens with candied pear, violet leaves, rum, ylang-ylang, marshmallow, and vanilla cream. The heart features bubble gum, jellybean, white caramel, and labdanum, settling into a base of rock sugar, tonka, vetiver, sandalwood, cashmere woods, and patchouli.

The longevity is great although I do like to spritz it on a few times of an evening. To this day my cousin asks me about this perfume and rushed out to our local shopping centre to try and recreate it herself. It’s light, juicy, sweet and fresh all at the same time. I’m a huge fan of Kayali but I think this may be their best scent yet.”
