Killer dad Chris Watts has claimed in twisted jail letters that he’s “a brand new man” and has been “forgiven” by God as he rots in jail for the horrific murders of his pregnant spouse and their two younger daughters.
The deranged assassin, 40, insisted he’s now a “new creature” in current handwritten letters to a feminine pen pal whereas he’s serving a life sentence on the Dodge Correctional Establishment in Wisconsin, the Every day Mail reported.
“I’ve all the time taken full duty for what I did, despite the fact that I used to be misled by a depraved girl,” he wrote to the pen pal — blaming his mistress for him murdering his household.
“I do know that God doesn’t see me as a sinner who killed his household; he sees me as His youngster. I’ve confessed my sins. I’m forgiven. The toughest factor I’ve needed to do was to forgive myself,” he wrote.
Watts admitted to strangling his 34-year-old spouse, Shanann, who was 15 weeks pregnant on the time, of their residence in Frederick, Colorado on August 13, 2018.
He then suffocated their daughters — Bella, 4, and Celeste, 3 — earlier than dumping the our bodies in oil drums.
After years locked up, Watts — who investigators say carried out the sick slayings so he could possibly be along with his mistress — declared within the letters: “I’m a brand new man.”
“I’m not the one that dedicated these horrible acts. 2 Corinthians 5:17 says ‘if any man be in Christ, he’s a brand new creature: previous issues are handed away; behold, all issues are develop into new.’ That’s me. I’m a brand new creature,” he wrote.
“God has separated me from my sin so far as the east is from the west,” Watts continued. “However forgiveness of self is one other matter fully and it has taken me years to search out my peace, the peace that passes all understanding.
“I’m lastly at peace with myself.”
Elsewhere, Watts repeated prior claims that he was misled by his “Jezebel” mistress, Nichol Kessinger, who he’d been having an affair with on the time of the murders.
“She was a harlot, a Jezebel who led me astray. Who spoke candy phrases of destruction,” Watts added. “However I’ll let God have his justice together with her. I used to be weak and I let her cloud my morals and my judgement.”
Kessinger, who dated the killer within the months earlier than the slayings, was by no means implicated within the murders.
