Claudia Winkleman delivered exciting updates for Celebrity Traitors fans, confirming that the second series features a lineup packed with major celebrities.

Host Shares Thrilling Details on The One Show

During an appearance on The One Show to promote her new BBC chat show, Winkleman addressed questions about the highly anticipated series, set to film soon. When asked if fans could expect more ‘big dogs’—industry slang for high-profile stars—she enthusiastically confirmed it.

“There certainly are,” she stated. “The people who make it are extraordinary, and they had to repeat the names twice to me because I was like, ‘Huh, are you joking? Come again?’ So, we’re incredibly lucky.”

Gratitude for Star Power After Series 1 Success

Winkleman remained humble about the influx of celebrities eager to join following the first series’ triumph. “Yeah, I hope so,” she added. “We’re so grateful that people want to come and play the game. And the people who said yes for series one, I still can’t believe it. I was shaking when you see Stephen Fry walking around the castle and Alan Carr, Ruth Codd—all of these people I was obsessed by.”

She expressed palpable excitement but quickly clammed up: “I’m very excited. But I can’t say anything else—don’t make eye contact with me.”

Confirmed Big Names Join the Cast

Sources confirm that former EastEnders actor Danny Dyer and This Morning star Alison Hammond have signed on for the series, which begins filming in the coming months.
