DHS Secretary Kristi Noem taken to hospital after an allergic response

Homeland Safety Secretary Kristi Noem was taken to the hospital on Tuesday after she suffered an allergic response.

“Secretary Noem had an allergic response. She was transported to the hospital out of an abundance of warning. She is alert and recovering,” Division of Homeland Safety spokeswoman Tricia McLaughlin stated in an announcement.

Noem was launched later that evening, McLaughlin stated.

A DHS official informed NBC Information that Noem was at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling in Washington when she had the allergic response.

Noem had a scheduled press convention Wednesday morning, but it surely was postponed.
