Round 150 professors and senior college members at Bar-Ilan College criticized a letter from college management to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, calling on him to “remedy the starvation drawback in Gaza,” Channel 12 Information reported on Tuesday morning.
In a press release issued yesterday, the lecturers condemned the claims made in that letter, together with accusations that Israel is ravenous Gaza’s residents, which they described as a “cynical marketing campaign.” They accused the opposite college members of “falling into Hamas’s propaganda lure.
“Whereas Hamas intentionally starves the hostages to exert strain, it’s exploiting the extreme humanitarian scenario within the Gaza Strip—a scenario it itself prompted and continues to trigger—to run a cynical marketing campaign blaming the State of Israel and IDF troopers for intentional hunger,” the assertion learn.
“We name on our colleagues and the general public to not fall into Hamas’s propaganda lure, which relies on info confirmed to be biased and partially false,” it added.

College Presidents’s letter to Netanyahu
The scenario started on July 28, when the presidents of 5 Israeli universities despatched a letter to Netanyahu, calling for pressing motion to resolve the “extreme starvation disaster in Gaza.”
