A man in his 60s sustained serious injuries after a vehicle struck him in North York on Saturday afternoon.
Emergency responders arrived at the scene near Jane Street and Shoreham Drive, just south of Steeles Avenue West, around 3:46 p.m. Authorities estimate the victim to be between 60 and 70 years old. Paramedics transported him to a nearby hospital, though his current condition remains undisclosed.
The vehicle’s driver stayed at the location following the incident, according to investigators. Local roads are temporarily closed to facilitate the ongoing probe into the collision.
