Amazon Fire TV Sticks now deliver more than just streaming for shows, movies, and sports. Nvidia introduces its GeForce NOW gaming platform to select Fire TV devices, enabling users to stream PC game libraries directly to their largest screens.
Big-Screen Gaming Without Extra Hardware
Nvidia states, “GeForce NOW is powering up the living room with the launch of the GeForce NOW app on Amazon Fire TV streaming sticks, levelling up big-screen gaming with PC-quality performance.”
This update allows Fire TV owners to access hundreds of titles, including Torment: Tides of Numenera, Mega Man 11, Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection, Reanimal, and Disciples: Domination, using only a compatible controller—no additional consoles required.
“Members tap into GeForce RTX power on the screens they already own, extending the value of their membership without extra hardware or complexity,” Nvidia adds. The service expands across platforms, including recent Linux support, from PCs and Macs to smartphones, browsers, and smart TVs.
Compatible Fire TV Models
The GeForce NOW app rolls out now, initially supporting the Fire TV Stick 4K Max and Fire TV Stick 4K Plus (2nd Gen). Owners of these devices can download the app this week.
