Haringey brokers fined over £100,000 for failing to show charges

Letting brokers in Haringey have been hit with over £100,000 in fines for failing to show clear charges and breaching Shopper Cash Safety guidelines.

Shopper Cash Safety safeguards hire and deposits, making certain landlords and tenants don’t lose their cash if an agent goes bust or commits fraud.

Some 16 brokers throughout the borough have been issued penalty notices, with half of them being hit with a number of fines.
