Early Geekbench benchmarks for the iPhone 17e’s A19 chip have emerged, offering initial insights into its capabilities after tests on recent Apple devices like the M4 iPad Air, M5 Max chip, and MacBook Neo.

A19 Chip Specifications

The A19 chip powering the iPhone 17e features a 6-core CPU, 4-core GPU, and 16-core Neural Engine.

Benchmarks for unreleased hardware require caution, as variations can occur before official launch.

CPU Performance Details

Eleven Geekbench results show the iPhone 17e averaging 3,320 in single-core CPU performance and 8,373 in multi-core. Single-core scores range from 3,001 to 3,607, while multi-core scores span 6,657 to 9,241.

Comparisons to Current Models

The average single-core score of 3,320 surpasses the iPhone 16e’s A18 chip at 3,241 and edges out the iPhone 16’s A19 chip at 3,319 by one point.

In multi-core, the 8,373 average exceeds the iPhone 16e at 7,977, iPhone 16 Plus at 8,266, and iPhone 16 at 8,280.

GPU Metal Scores

Four Metal benchmark results average 31,163, ranging from 30,831 to 31,597. This outperforms the iPhone 16e at 23,895, iPhone 16 at 27,666, and iPhone 16 Plus at 27,722.

Final performance will clarify once the iPhone 17e launches and more users submit tests.
