Kim Zolciak firmly denies claims that she has lost custody of her four children shared with estranged husband Kroy Biermann following a recent court order.

Zolciak’s Response to Custody Reports

Biermann, 40, recently sought sole custody of their children: KJ, 14, Kash, 13, and twins Kaia and Kane, 12. A Georgia judge ruled that the minors remain with their father until Zolciak, 47, completes four required parent therapy sessions.

Zolciak addressed the matter on Instagram Stories, sharing a screenshot of the reports and stating, ‘I will absolutely not put up with these lies any longer.’ She explained missing counseling sessions due to international filming commitments but confirmed they will conclude next week, allowing her to reunite with the children.

In a detailed statement, Zolciak clarified, ‘I signed a temporary custody order at the end of January. The order clearly states that both the mother and father are to participate in two counseling sessions per month for two months, followed by one session per month thereafter.’

She noted her absence from February 26 through March 28 for two productions, leaving no time for sessions. Currently, Biermann has the children during spring break as per their agreement, with Zolciak set to resume parenting time on Friday. She emphasized, ‘For the avoidance of any doubt, I have not lost custody of my children, nor has there been any modification to the custody agreement outside of the agreed upon temporary order.’

Family Background

Besides the four younger children, Zolciak has daughters Brielle, 29, and Ariana, 24, from prior relationships. Biermann adopted them after their 2011 marriage.

Biermann’s Court Filing and Allegations

Court documents reveal Biermann accused Zolciak of ‘blatant mismanagement of basic parenting responsibilities.’ He claimed she traveled extensively abroad from February 26 through March 29, failing to parent on scheduled dates, except for one night on March 9 when a child suffered a dog bite.

Biermann further alleged Zolciak entered the temporary joint custody plan in bad faith, committed ‘fraud and deceit,’ allowed children to miss therapy sessions, and lied to therapists. He seeks sole custody, arguing she is ‘unstable and unfit’ as a parent, supported by expert testimony.

Zolciak refuted these claims, calling them ‘completely false and nothing more than a deliberate attempt by Kroy to defame my character.’ She defended her five-week work trip as necessary to support the family, adding, ‘I refuse to be bullied or have lies twisted into a narrative about who I am. I will not stay silent, the truth is on my side.’

Divorce Timeline

The couple separated in May 2023, with divorce proceedings starting in August 2023. They mediated a temporary custody agreement on January 27.
