Kyle Sandilands, the 54-year-old radio personality, has placed his luxurious six-bedroom, five-bathroom mansion in Sydney on the market for $5.9 million, nearly double the price he paid three years ago.
Sandilands purchased the 9,580 sqm semi-rural property in Glenorie, part of Sydney’s North West Hills District, for $3 million in August 2022. He acquired the bushland-adjacent acreage just before welcoming son Otto with wife Tegan Kynaston. Initially intended as a family home, plans changed when Tegan expressed reluctance to live there. Sandilands then renovated the estate extensively and listed it with a price guide of $5.7 million to $5.9 million.
Stunning Property Transformation
The residence has seen a major overhaul since last February, when Sandilands shared details of the lavish upgrades. It now features 832 sqm of internal living space in a Georgian-inspired double-storey design, excluding alfresco areas.
A grand circular driveway leads to a welcoming courtyard, overlooked by a stately balcony. Ideal for family life, the home offers multiple formal and informal living zones with exquisite detailing. At its heart is a spacious dine-in kitchen with ample preparation and storage space. A private study includes a custom library and hidden storage, balancing work and leisure needs.
Situated in a semi-rural setting, the property provides breathtaking natural views and scenic walking trails, while remaining convenient to local amenities.
Recent On-Air Tensions with Co-Host
The listing follows revelations that Sandilands’ long-time radio partner, Jackie O Henderson, 51, will take a short break from her KIIS FM breakfast show after a heated on-air exchange.
Henderson missed Monday’s Kyle & Jackie O broadcast, with Sandilands confirming her absence and limited phone contact. Tensions peaked on Friday when Sandilands criticized her interest in astrology during a discussion about recent developments involving Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.
Henderson read out the royal’s birth chart, prompting Sandilands to remark, “As I said, fascinating, but I don’t think it should be at the detriment of everything else on the show – this relentless research.”
When Henderson defended checking the information on her phone, Sandilands pressed on: “It’s affecting other things, like your fixation on this has made you almost unworkable. You’re off with the fairies with this s***t. It’s mental.” Henderson grew emotional, holding back tears as she responded.
