Ottawa emergency responders transported an adult male to a trauma centre after he sustained injuries consistent with a stabbing during an assault at Elmvale Acres Shopping Centre.
Incident Details
The altercation occurred inside a business in the 1900 block of St. Laurent Boulevard around 8:40 p.m. on Friday evening. Paramedics arrived promptly and assessed the victim, a man in his fifties, who had been wounded by an edged weapon.
Responders treated the man on site before rushing him to the hospital, where he remains in serious but stable condition. He was the only individual requiring medical attention at the scene.
