MWC 2026 launches today, March 2, and runs through March 5, delivering a wave of new smartphones, laptops, tablets, robots, and AI innovations. Hands-on demos showcase standout devices amid the buzz.
Lenovo Showcases Foldable Gaming Handheld and AI Concepts
Lenovo steals the spotlight with the Legion Go Fold, a concept foldable gaming handheld featuring a flexible 11.6-inch display that folds to 7.7 inches. Detachable controllers offer versatile mounting for landscape or portrait play. Controllers merge into one unit via accessory, while a folio cover enables kickstand mode. A pogo pin strip supports wireless keyboard attachment for laptop configuration. The right controller doubles as a mouse with a scroll wheel, hidden sensor, and mini OLED display for widgets or touchpad use. Production remains uncertain and likely premium-priced if realized.
The Modular AI PC concept features dual displays and a detachable keyboard for adaptable setups. Hot-swappable ports, demonstrated with USB-C, USB-A, and HDMI, enhance flexibility, though it stays a prototype.
