Los Angeles authorities have charged a 35-year-old woman with attempted murder after she allegedly fired shots at Rihanna’s home while the singer and her family were inside.

On Tuesday, Los Angeles District Attorney Nathan J. Hochman announced the indictment of Ivanna Lisette Ortiz. She faces one count of attempted murder, nine counts of assault with a firearm, two counts of shooting into an inhabited dwelling, and one count of shooting at a motor vehicle.

Hochman stated that a conviction could result in a life sentence in state prison.
