Tension brews ahead of I’m A Celebrity South Africa‘s premiere as Gemma Collins accuses Sinitta of leaking messages from the show’s crew WhatsApp group. With just days until the pre-recorded series airs on April 6, the feud between the two stars escalates.

Sinitta Denies Leak Allegations

Sinitta firmly rejects the claims, stating, “I’ve been accused of being the rat who’s been selling the WhatsApp stories . . . the only rat amongst us were those in the jungle.” She adds a sharp jab: “Gemma might be suffering a little hallucinogenically from all the, er, animal scrotums.”

A source close to Sinitta reveals she feels “dumbfounded and incredibly upset” by the unproven accusations. The source notes, “She made a beeline for Gemma as she had been beside herself with worry, and the other celebs were clearly aware there was this unspoken tension.”

Cast members now worry the conflict could spread if Collins levels similar charges against others.

Harry Redknapp’s Prank Nearly Sparks Walkout

Separate drama unfolded during filming when former football manager Harry Redknapp pulled a prank on the exhausted group after intense trials. Sinitta recounts at a press roundtable: “Harry comes in and says, ‘Guys, you’re not going to believe this,’ and he’s got the board, and he starts reading this awful trial; I think it’s called something like the House of Hell, Prison of Hell, or something.”

Before Redknapp finished, a fatigued Gemma declared, “I’m a celebrity, get me out of here,” nearly triggering a mass exit. Redknapp then revealed the joke, averting the crisis.

I’m A Celebrity South Africa launches April 6 at 9pm on ITV and ITVX.
