Stonham Barns Holiday Park Faces Uncertain Future
A well-known holiday park in Suffolk, featuring a shopping village, theatre, and golf course, has entered administration. Stonham Barns lodged a notice to appoint administrators on Monday, February 16, following prolonged financial difficulties. The site, celebrated for events like historical re-enactments and classic car shows, now hangs in the balance.
Administrators Appointed to Stabilize Operations
David Hudson and David Hinrichsen from FRP Advisory serve as joint administrators. They aim to maintain normal operations while marketing the property for sale. David Hudson, a partner at FRP Advisory, emphasized: “We focus on business as usual and reassure guests that existing bookings remain unaffected. Anyone planning a visit can book confidently.”
FRP Advisory’s statement confirms the appointment and outlines plans to trade the site during the search for a buyer, preserving its future as a viable business.
Bookings and Facilities Unaffected
All current holiday reservations will be honored, and the park continues to accept new bookings. Every facility operates normally throughout the administration period.
