Timm Hanly’s Dramatic Transformation
Timm Hanly, the 31-year-old former star of The Bachelorette, has revealed a strikingly different appearance that has left followers amazed. After undergoing surgery to fix a collapsed septum, the Melbourne entrepreneur shared footage on Instagram showcasing his updated facial features.
In the video, Hanly appears shirtless, highlighting his well-defined muscles and prominent tattoos across his chest, arms, and neck. His face now features a sharper profile, with a narrower, more symmetrical nose that contrasts sharply with his previous look.
This change stands out when compared to his earlier reality TV days, where Hanly sported long blond curls, a crooked smile, and a slightly irregular nose that added to his playful, carefree persona.
Addressing the Rumors
During a candid Instagram Q&A session, Hanly directly tackled questions from fans about the surgery’s cause. ‘Alright, let’s just clear things up before we get right into this question box,’ he started. ‘90% of the questions are like, is this from too much cocaine? Is this from too much partying?’
He addressed the speculation with humor, saying, ‘We can’t rule out that it wasn’t from cocaine or partying ’cause I’ve done lots of that in my life.’ However, Hanly clarified that his past habits were not the primary reason. ‘But I stopped doing that about five years ago when I started Front Runner, and I still had two good nostrils when I ended my partying career,’ he explained.
Instead, he attributed the damage to his boxing training. ‘I did have a boxing camp after that, which I got absolutely fing pumped in… my nose got broken a couple of times, so I’m gonna say boxing – but we can’t completely rule out the cocaine fing conspiracy,’ he added jokingly.
Hanly emphasized his current focus: ‘But yeah, those days are over… I’m done with all that. Everything I do now has a purpose.’
Lifestyle Overhaul and Business Success
Hanly has openly discussed shifting away from late nights and excessive partying toward a healthier routine centered on fitness, early mornings, and entrepreneurship. In 2020, he described entering a ‘different stage’ of life, crediting his streetwear brand Front Runner for providing new direction. ‘I’m in a really good place at the moment,’ he shared. ‘It’s like part of growing up. It’s sort of exciting. It’s like I’ve stepped into a new world.’
That same year, Hanly announced going sober after recognizing his binge drinking had become unmanageable. Today, he prioritizes health, business, and family.
Recent Personal Milestone
Hanly’s refreshed appearance coincides with a significant life event. In November, he married his longtime partner, Briana De La Motte, in an intimate lakeside ceremony. The couple, who co-founded the successful fashion brand Front Runner, exchanged vows after a two-year engagement and years of on-and-off dating.
Photos from the wedding capture joyful moments, including Hanly tearing up as their two-year-old daughter, Harper, walked down the aisle. The newlyweds appeared radiant amid falling white petals, celebrating their union surrounded by loved ones.
