President Donald Trump vowed Monday to impose “substantial” new tariffs and limit U.S. chip exports for all international locations that don’t take away digital taxes and associated laws.

Trump wrote on Reality Social that digital companies taxes, or DSTs — that are presently imposed by dozens of nations — “are all designed to hurt, or discriminate in opposition to, American Expertise.”
