An Englishman’s getaway throughout the pond ended with him in a jail cell with an tried homicide cost — after he allegedly tried to drown his daughter-in-law within the pool.

Mark Raymond, 62, from Beaconsfield, England, allegedly held his daughter-in-law’s head underneath water on the luxurious Solterra Resort close to Orlando — as his terrified 9-year-old granddaughter fought to cease him, the Polk County Sheriff’s Workplace stated.

“The sufferer informed detectives that she and Gibbon started arguing about his grandchildren,” the workplace stated in a launch.

Raymond allegedly saved shoving his daughter-in-law’s head underneath the water, “stopping her from respiration,” the sheriff’s workplace stated.

The battle continued even after his 9-year-old granddaughter leaped into the pool to save lots of her mother, in keeping with cops.

He lastly launched his daughter-in-law after two bystanders known as the cops, authorities stated.

Raymond has been charged with two counts of battery and one rely of second-degree homicide.
