Gunman allegedly kills ex-wife’s new man as he belts out a Linkin Park tune at karaoke

An Ohio man who would often jeer his ex-wife’s singing allegedly shot and killed her new boyfriend whereas he belted out a Linkin Park tune at a karaoke bar.

Richard Lindgren, 59, allegedly shot 42-year-old Benjamin Hawk — who was in a relationship with Lindgren’s ex-wife — at Louie’s Nook Home in Buckeye Lake, Ohio, simply earlier than midnight Friday, in response to police and Hawk’s pals.

Hawk was only a few notes into Linkin Park’s “One Extra Mild” when Lindgren pulled out a gun and shot him with none altercation beforehand, in response to DJ Robert Humble, who advised ABC 6 he was working on the bar that evening and was simply “4 ft” from the taking pictures.

“He was utilizing [karaoke] as a strategy to share his feelings with everyone else,” his brother David Hawk advised The Columbus Dispatch.

A homicide warrant for Lindgren’s arrest was issued instantly after the taking pictures, the Licking County Sheriff’s Workplace stated.

He was taken into custody in South Carolina on Saturday, police stated. Licking County authorities stated they have been working to have have extradited again to Ohio.
