Boy, 14, shot in daylight burst of violence on NYC avenue, then heads to park a few mile away

A 14-year-old boy was shot in a broad-daylight burst of violence on a Queens avenue Friday — and traveled to a park a few mile away the place cops discovered him wounded, police mentioned. 

The teenager was blasted within the thigh round 10:30 a.m. at Highland Avenue and Homelawn Avenue in Jamaica Estates, authorities mentioned. 

He then headed to Rufus King Park a few mile away at Jamaica Avenue and a hundred and fiftieth Avenue, the place somebody referred to as 911, cops mentioned.

It remained unclear later Friday how he acquired there. 

Responding EMS employees rushed the boy to Northwell Cohen Kids’s Medical Middle, the place he was listed in secure situation and described as uncooperative with investigators, cops and sources mentioned. 

Police are in search of two male suspects in connection to the daytime gunplay.

The violence comes about two weeks after a gun battle throughout a basketball match at a Bronx park left a 17-year-old lady preventing for her life, killed a 32-year-old man and injured three others.

4 suspects had been arrested, two of them teen boys, cops mentioned.
