Actress Keke Palmer has officially addressed ongoing rumors linking her romantically with Sean Evans, the creator and host of the popular web series “Hot Ones.” During a panel discussion at Cannes Lions on Tuesday, Palmer confirmed that she and Evans are indeed spending time together.
Confirming ‘Hanging Out’
Speaking at Spotify’s “Conversations That Channel Culture” event, moderated by Jay Shetty, Palmer responded to questions about her relationship with Evans. “We hangin’ out,” she stated coyly, adding with a smile, “You know what I mean?”
Palmer expressed her admiration for Evans, saying, “First of all, I love Sean Evans – I love Sean. Hey, Sean. That’s my guy.” When discussing the potential trajectory of their connection, she remarked, “You never know what can arise from there. We just take it day by day.” Playfully referencing the “Hot Ones” format, she added they are moving forward “one wing at a time, so to speak.”
Recent Public Sightings and Interactions
Speculation about a romance between Palmer, 32, and Evans, 40, has intensified following several public appearances and interactions. In mid-June, the two were reportedly seen on a date at the upscale Italian restaurant Lucali in Brooklyn, New York. Witnesses described them as being engrossed in conversation for over an hour and a half.
The sighting followed Evans’ appearance on Palmer’s podcast, “Baby, This Is Keke Palmer,” in May. Their on-air chemistry during the episode fueled further fan interest.
The ‘Hot Ones’ Kiss and Lingering Spark
The intrigue surrounding Palmer and Evans dates back to September 2025, when Palmer was a guest on “Hot Ones.” During the spicy interview segment, she initiated a kiss with Evans in the closing moments, a move that quickly went viral. At the time, Palmer had suggested, “Maybe we could just have a quick smooch, to see if there’s a spark.” Following the kiss, she exclaimed, “The sparks are sparking!” Evans responded, “When I’m dying, and my life flashes before my eyes, I’ll have that snapshot.”
The podcast appearance in May saw the duo continue their playful dynamic. Palmer even introduced Evans as her “potential future suitor” at the beginning of the episode, acknowledging the widespread rumors.
