Hounslow Council in West London has fined landlords a collective £180,000 up to now six months, with a mean high quality of £14,000 every.
Many of the violations had been for unlicensed Homes in A number of Occupation (HMO).
Inspections verify whether or not landlords have the right tenancy agreements, licenses, and well being and security requirements.
Councillor Tom Bruce, the council deputy chief and cupboard member for belongings, stated: “We stand firmly with tenants and communities, supporting individuals’s proper to reside in safe, well-maintained properties.
“Most landlords present secure and first rate housing, however we won’t tolerate those that exploit renters or neglect their duties.”
He added: “The place landlords fail of their responsibility of care, we’ll act decisively, issuing the strongest penalties out there each time potential.”
