5An off-duty cop raped a 15-year-old lady in The Bronx, police mentioned Friday.
Officer Ndegnior Kpan, 27, was arrested Thursday night when cops responded to his Co-op Metropolis house after a 911 name about an assault, law-enforcement sources mentioned.
The teenager sufferer claimed that she’d gotten into an argument with Kpan — her “good friend” — and when she tried to get her belongings from his house, he dragged her outdoors, sources mentioned.
The assault left the lady with seen accidents, in line with sources.
An investigation revealed Kpan had an “intimate relationship” with the teenager, which is statutory rape, sources mentioned.
He was arrested and charged with rape, endangering the welfare of a kid and assault, police mentioned.
Kpan — who had solely been on the job since July 2024 and was on “prolonged go away” on the time of the arrest — was suspended with out pay, cops and sources mentioned.
It was not instantly clear why he was on prolonged go away on the time.
He had not but been arraigned Friday night.
