A 12-year-old boy stopped a burglar who broke in whereas he was residence alone Tuesday — after the child jumped from his bed room window and referred to as the cops, police stated. 

The intelligent child was alone in his residence on Eagle Avenue in Medford round 12:50 p.m. when he heard glass shatter downstairs and the sound of the prowler’s footsteps within the kitchen, in accordance with the Suffolk County Police Division.

The boy opened his window and leaped out to the yard, the place he noticed the homeless intruder, Christian Garcia, 53, lurking inside the house, cops stated.

Garcia allegedly broke a kitchen window earlier than getting contained in the property, cops stated. 

The kid was not injured.

Garcia was charged with housebreaking and possession of burglar instruments. He was awaiting arraignment Wednesday at First District Courtroom in Central Islip.
