Adorable Family Moments with Baby Ziggy

Sophie Habboo and Jamie Laing recently posted heartwarming family photos featuring their newborn son, Ziggy, offering a sneak peek into their new life as parents. The couple, known from Made in Chelsea, welcomed their first child last month, marking a joyful milestone for the 37-year-old Jamie.

In a series of images shared on Instagram, dubbed the ‘Ziggy files,’ the pair beams with happiness while cradling their baby in a black-and-white shot. Sophie gazes lovingly at Ziggy as she holds him on the sofa, capturing tender moments of bonding. Jamie also appears multitasking in the kitchen, preparing a meal with his son secured in a carrier against his chest.

Upcoming Disney+ Documentary on Parenthood

The posts hint at Ziggy’s inclusion in an upcoming Disney+ docuseries that chronicles the couple’s path to parenthood. Announced last year, the series follows Sophie’s pregnancy and the challenges of juggling family with their demanding careers. The couple, who married in 2023, expressed excitement about sharing this chapter.

In a statement about the project, Jamie and Sophie noted: ‘For nearly a decade, we’ve brought audiences along the highs and lows of our personal and professional lives through TV, radio, social media and our podcasts. It’s such an honour to now partner with the incredible teams at Disney+ and Dorothy St Pictures to bring our next chapter to viewers across the globe. Navigating our lives with a baby on the way has opened up a whole new stage of our relationship – we can’t wait to give you a front row seat!’

The series, commissioned by Executive Director Sean Doyle, is produced by Dorothy St Pictures in association with Jampot Productions.

Recent Social Media Highlights and Responses

Earlier this month, Jamie humorously addressed his ‘dad bod’ in an Instagram video alongside Ziggy. He joked about missing his pre-baby physique, only for Sophie to quip back in the clip: ‘What you talking about, you’re his Dad, get your a*s to the gym.’ Jamie captioned the post: ‘Dad bod era incoming.’

However, Jamie faced criticism for a previous post praising Sophie as a ‘superwoman’ for hosting a magical Christmas just three weeks postpartum. Some viewers felt it created unrealistic pressures on new mothers, with comments highlighting the challenges of recovery and limited resources. One response read: ‘I normally love your content, but this is an insensitive post and sets an unrealistic expectation/pressure on other new mothers. Not everyone has the money, resources and support to be able to do this.’

In response, Jamie shared a video of himself doing squats while holding Ziggy, acknowledging: ‘First rule since becoming a dad: Accepting that no matter how tired you are, you’re definitely never as tired as your wife.’ Mothers in the comments praised the sentiment, with one stating: ‘100% not as tired. Not taking away from your own sleep deprivation but it’s still not as much as her keep doing amazing work.’

The couple announced Ziggy’s birth on December 4, 2025, with sweet hospital photos showing Jamie’s arm around Sophie as she holds their newborn, and another of Sophie alone with the baby.
