During Super Bowl week on radio row in San Francisco, Rob Gronkowski energizes the early morning crowd just before 7 a.m. The four-time Super Bowl champion steps away from the Good Morning Football set after analyzing his beloved New England Patriots’ chances, high-fiving hosts and whooping with excitement. He grabs his breakfast burrito and dives into more football talk, his enthusiasm matching that of a player gearing up for the big game.

‘One game left already,’ Gronkowski says, shaking his head in disbelief. ‘Football is so awesome, it makes time fly. So many incredible games this season, such an incredible playoffs—it flew by. It brings so much joy to everyone’s lives.’

Patriots Eye Third Dynasty in Super Bowl Rematch

Gronkowski emphasizes the massive stakes as the Patriots face the Seattle Seahawks in a Super Bowl 49 rematch on Sunday. ‘The Patriots are back,’ he announces, beaming. ‘This could kick off the third part of the dynasty for the Patriots. Why not? You’ve got Mike Vrabel in his first year with the Patriots, Drake Maye in his second year in the NFL—a tremendous player. It is just wild to see how the Patriots have turned it around from last year.’

Gronkowski, who won three Super Bowl titles with the Patriots, expresses shock over former coach Bill Belichick and owner Robert Kraft missing first-ballot induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. ‘No coach is ever going to get in the Hall of Fame on the first ballot now,’ he states. ‘If coach Belichick hasn’t, well then I don’t see it ever happening now. It’s not possible. It’s the greatest organization in all football, the winningest. Those two are deserving to go in the football hall of fame. It’s going to happen, obviously, but it’s a disappointment they weren’t first ballot. Kraft should be there already.’

Belichick Party Rumors Surface

Reports indicate that Belichick’s 24-year-old girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, plans a party timed to coincide with the Hall of Fame induction in August, potentially inviting Patriots legends. ‘I haven’t had an invite yet,’ Gronkowski says, learning of it seemingly for the first time. ‘Whenever it happens, I hope they throw the biggest party because he deserves it.’

Gronk Credits Partying for On-Field Edge

Reflecting on his Patriots glory days under Belichick and quarterback Tom Brady, Gronkowski reveals how his nightlife fueled his performance. Renowned for his physicality and speed, he credits dancefloor sessions for maintaining cardio. ‘When I was going ham back in the day, in my young buck era in my 20s, I was going out all the time,’ he laughs. ‘It kept me in shape, made me quick when I was out on the football field because I would be dancing on the dancefloor for two hours and kept my cardio up! That was how I contributed to staying in shape but staying in shape while partying. The partying can knock you out of shape but I was dancing for so long it kind of counter-acted the partying.’

Sympathy for Brady’s Single Life Spotlight

Gronkowski shows compassion for his former teammate Tom Brady, now 48 and navigating single life. Recent videos captured Brady dancing closely with influencer Alix Earle in St. Barths on New Year’s Eve, shortly after her split from Houston Texans receiver Braxton Berrios. ‘It is hard, he’s a very iconic figure and it is tough to be on at all times,’ Gronkowski says. ‘I feel for him at times. I can go places with him, and I can have tonnes of attention by myself but when he comes around not one person will pay attention to me. But he’s such a pro, he knows how to handle all situations. He’s in phenomenal shape, top shape—he’s probably the best 48-year-old in shape for that age, the guy’s a specimen. He can throw a football like no other at any given time but he needs to work on his dance moves! He needs to watch some of my clips when I was in my twenties. I’ll send them to him!’

Bold Super Bowl Prediction

Speaking on behalf of FanDuel’s Last Call for Football campaign, Gronkowski wraps up with a prediction matching Super Bowl 49’s scoreline. ‘I’m going for the same score as Super Bowl 49, Patriots 28, Seattle 24—it just makes sense,’ he says. He highlights Seattle’s Kenneth Walker as a ‘beast’ running angrily and Patriots’ Stefon Diggs ready to erupt after a quiet playoffs. With a firm handshake, Gronkowski heads off, clearly thriving in Super Bowl week atmosphere.
