Kendra Duggar’s Arrest in Arkansas
Kendra Duggar, 27, faces arrest in Arkansas on charges of endangering the welfare of a minor and false imprisonment. Authorities issued a warrant for her arrest on Friday, initially unable to locate her at the family residence in Washington County. Records from the Washington County Detention Center confirm her custody following the operation.
Joseph Duggar’s Florida Charges
Just two days earlier, on Wednesday, Joseph Duggar, 31, was taken into custody in Lynn Haven, Florida. The Bay County Sheriff’s Office announced charges of lewd and lascivious behavior involving unlawful sexual activity with a minor. The case stems from a reports an investigator from the Tontitown Police Department in Arkansas detailing past sexual abuse.
A 14-year-old girl reported multiple inappropriate incidents involving Duggar around five years ago. These alleged events occurred in 2020 during her family’s vacation in Panama City Beach, Florida, when she was nine years old. Officials state that Duggar allegedly touched the girl on her underwear and genitals.
Additional Charges Against Joseph in Arkansas
Duggar now confronts further accusations in Arkansas, including four counts of second-degree endangering the welfare of a minor and four counts of second-degree false imprisonment, according to the Tontitown Police Department. These Arkansas charges remain unrelated to the Florida investigation.
Representatives for Kendra and Joseph Duggar have not yet responded to requests for comment.
