Violent Clash Outside Adelaide Shopping Centre

A fierce altercation unfolded outside Munno Para Shopping Centre in Adelaide around 6pm on January 29, involving two mothers and their teenage daughters. Authorities report that a 41-year-old woman and two 14-year-old girls from Angle Vale allegedly assaulted a 39-year-old woman and her 15-year-old daughter. Both victims received hospital treatment for non-life-threatening injuries, with the 39-year-old mother sustaining a head cut requiring six stitches.

Video footage captures the group kicking and striking the 39-year-old woman as she struggled to stand. The 41-year-old woman shouts, ‘Get off my f***ing daughter,’ before delivering a kick to the victim’s head.

Accused Mother’s Unapologetic Response

Outside Elizabeth Magistrates’ Court, the 41-year-old woman confirmed to reporters that she kicked the victim. ‘Yes, I did kick her, but underneath, and I don’t think that hard,’ she stated. She expressed no remorse, declaring, ‘I’m not embarrassed. I’m supporting and sticking up for my children over this bullying.’

She refused to apologize, emphasizing broader concerns. ‘It’s really bullying, and there’s a lot of it going around,’ she said. ‘Mothers need to pull their kids up because I’ve had enough.’

Court Proceedings and Charges

The 41-year-old woman and the two teenagers face charges of assault and assault causing harm. She requested an adjournment to seek legal advice, while the girls appeared at Elizabeth Youth Court. The case returns to court in April.

Officials urge anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers to assist the investigation.
