Multiple ambulances from the Hatzolah volunteer emergency service have caught fire in London’s Golders Green neighborhood, northwest of the capital, early on Monday, March 23. Emergency crews rushed to the scene to battle the intense blaze.
Suspected Deliberate Arson
Footage shared widely online captures the scale of the fire, with several vehicles fully engulfed in flames. Social media videos also show three masked individuals carrying fuel containers and setting the area alight near the parked ambulances before fleeing.
Golders Green maintains a large Jewish population, and Hatzolah provides rapid, volunteer-based medical response in the community. Officials have not yet determined the exact cause, but evidence points to foul play.
Fire Brigade Response
London Fire Brigade crews arrived promptly. A brigade spokesperson confirmed, “We are in attendance managing a fire.” Firefighters worked to extinguish the blaze and secure the area, with no reports of injuries so far.
Investigations continue as police hunt for suspects captured on surveillance footage.
