Pro-Ject, the maker of award-winning turntables like the Debut Carbon, introduces the VC-E Mini, a new vacuum-based automatic vinyl record cleaner. This compact device launches in April at £249 (approximately $350 or AU$500), offering a more affordable option than the larger VC-E2 and VC-E3 models.

Space-Saving Design with Minimal Moving Parts

The VC-E Mini stands out for its smaller footprint and simplified mechanics. Unlike traditional cleaners, it eliminates the suction arm, relying instead on a brushless vacuum motor. This motor draws cleaning fluid across the record surface and removes it efficiently, reducing the need for complex components and saving storage space.

Included Accessories and Cleaning Process

The package contains everything needed for effective cleaning: a dedicated brush, magnetic clamp, adhesive arm strip, and Pro-Ject’s Wash It 2 fluid. This alcohol-free solution, composed of demineralised water and a cleaning concentrate, ensures safe, thorough maintenance. Users apply the fluid, and the vacuum system handles the rest in a straightforward process.

Why Vinyl Enthusiasts Need It

Dirt and debris on vinyl records degrade sound quality over time. The VC-E Mini addresses common barriers like high costs and bulky designs, making professional-level cleaning accessible. For collectors preserving inherited or prized collections, this machine delivers pristine results without excessive hassle.
