Tobey Maguire and his ex-wife Jennifer Meyer shared a casual family dinner with their children, Ruby, 19, and Otis, 16, in Santa Monica over the weekend. The 50-year-old actor joined the jewelry designer, 48, who is expecting her first child with fiancé Geoffrey Ogunlesi, a billionaire heir.

Evening Outing at Giorgio Baldi

Maguire opted for a relaxed look with a black sweatshirt, black trousers, Nike sneakers, and a black cap. Meyer highlighted her growing baby bump in a black shirt, baggy pants, and a denim jacket. The group exited the Italian restaurant Giorgio Baldi together before continuing to their next stop.

Pregnancy Announcement and Fiancé’s Background

Meyer revealed her pregnancy with her third child overall—and first with Ogunlesi—in December. She shared an Instagram photo showcasing her baby bump, captioning it, “Hey baby girl, We love love love you!!” Ogunlesi, founder of the Ogunlesi Group, commented, “WE LOVE YOU.”

Ogunlesi hails from a prominent family; his father, Nigerian lawyer and investment banker Adebayo Ogunlesi, boasts an estimated net worth of $2.3 billion.

Relationship History and Co-Parenting

Maguire and Meyer met in 2003 on the set of Seabiscuit at Universal Studios. They got engaged in 2006, married in Hawaii in 2007, separated after nine years in 2016, and finalized their divorce in 2020.

In their separation statement, they said: “After much soul searching and consideration we have made the decision to separate as a couple. As devoted parents, our first priority remains raising our children together with enduring love, respect and friendship.”

Meyer’s Praise for Co-Parenting

On The Inside Edit podcast, Meyer described Maguire as her “best friend,” stating, “I now have an ex-husband who is my best friend and would do anything for me, and I would do anything for him, anything in the world.” She called him “the best dad, the best ex-husband, the best friend [and] the most generous,” adding that the divorce was “one of my greatest teachers.”

Meyer noted it taught patience while raising their children, then around 10 years old, and required navigating “some big hurdles.” She said, “He is wonderful and I got lucky for that. My life was not easy every day, and I’m sure he would say the same thing.”

In 2022 on The World’s First podcast, Meyer discussed post-split parenting: “It was a choice, and it was trusting in, like, the universe has got our back, but let me tell you something, the work is a motherf***er.” She shared how they now communicate openly about significant others and daily challenges, affirming, “I would do anything in the world for him. I can’t even explain [it]. He is my brother. I love him to death.”

Blended Family Moments

Meyer has shared glimpses of their amicable co-parenting on Instagram, including a photo last year with Ruby, Maguire, and Ogunlesi. Ruby attends Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island. Maguire and Meyer also reunited with Otis in Beverly Hills in February.
