The polo shirt Tiger Woods wore during his Florida car crash has sold out after fans quickly snapped it up. Woods faces charges of driving under the influence, property damage, and refusal to submit to a lawful test following the incident where he flipped his Land Rover in Jupiter Island on Friday.

Details of the Crash

The 50-year-old golf legend drove at a high rate of speed while attempting to overtake a lorry pulling a trailer. He clipped the trailer, lost control, and rolled his vehicle onto its side. Woods emerged unhurt by climbing out of the passenger window. Officers observed signs of impairment in his behavior, possibly due to medication or drugs. A breathalyzer test cleared him of alcohol use, but he declined a urine sample for further testing. Authorities charged him, and he spent eight hours in Martin County Jail before release.

Sun Day Red Polo Shirt Demand Surges

Social media images from the scene showed Woods in a blue polo shirt from his Sun Day Red brand, the same one featured in his mugshot. The £114 Review Polo in Cosmic Blue sold out in all sizes on the Sun Day Red website. The Feisty Flamingo color remains available in all sizes.

Fan Reactions at Houston Open

Over the weekend, some supporters at the Texas Children’s Houston Open wore T-shirts displaying Woods’ mugshot with the slogan ‘#FreeTiger.’ While certain fans approach the matter lightheartedly, others demand accountability if the allegations prove true.

Former PGA Tour professional Mark Lye commented: “Is this the legacy you want to leave? Because 25 years of great golf can be erased in a heartbeat, and I just feel really blessed for him that there wasn’t an injury or a fatality or something of that weight.”

Lye added: “We all feel bad for Tiger, but you know something, there’s got to be accountability, and it’s got to happen pretty soon. The PGA Tour, he’s one of the higher-ups now. They’re paying him over $20 million a year for the position that he’s in. I don’t know, there seems to be a morals clause in every contract that we sign as golfers and professional athletes, and if they don’t come down on him, it’s like he’s going to escape again.”

Woods has not yet commented on the incident.
