Escalating Delays

Initial delays reached 45 minutes above normal, with officials advising drivers to allow extra journey time. Conditions worsened, doubling to 90 minutes. National Highways: North-West updated: “There are currently delays of 90 minutes above normal travel time. Please allow extra time for your journey.”
