No Suspicious Circumstances Reported
Authorities established a crime scene but confirm no suspicious activity surrounds the death. A report prepares for the coroner. Price’s presence at the Maroubra address remains unclear, as she typically resided in Sydney’s upscale eastern suburbs, with recent stays in Double Bay.
Isolation Following Engagement Split
In the months leading up to her death, Price withdrew from her social circle. She ended her engagement to investor Tom Fennell, 52, in November last year. Fennell, managing director of Tama Capital and known among elites as a playboy, had proposed in 2022 with a stunning ring.
Price deleted her public social media accounts, opting for a private burner profile. She stopped attending high-society lunches with friends, who reportedly sided with Fennell post-breakup. A well-connected source described her situation as ‘social Siberia.’
Price and her two children had lived in Fennell’s Rose Bay apartment in 2023 before the relationship soured. Insiders note his home now serves as a nightlife hub: ‘Everyone knows that if the night isn’t quite over, you head to Tom Fennell’s. He is basically the Hugh Hefner of the east—always surrounded by glamorous young women and always ready with the keys to his house.’
Troubled Romantic Past
Price built a reputation dating Sydney’s wealthy financiers. She shared custody of her children with ex-husband Freddie Blencke, a private wealth advisor. The couple divorced in 2020 after a stormy marriage involving assault allegations.
