Former New York Jets quarterback Browning Nagle has passed away at age 57 after battling colon cancer.
Nagle earned fame as a Fiesta Bowl MVP quarterback at the University of Louisville. He played five seasons in the NFL, including stints with the Atlanta Falcons and Indianapolis Colts.

The University of Louisville issued a statement mourning his loss: “We are saddened by the passing of Browning Nagle, former Fiesta Bowl MVP quarterback and Louisville great. His leadership on the field and passion for the game left a lasting mark on our program. Our thoughts are with his loved ones and teammates during this time.”
