Meghan Trainor has canceled her upcoming nationwide Get In Girl Tour, just two months before its scheduled start. The 32-year-old singer shared the news directly with fans via Instagram Stories on Thursday.

Tour Details and Schedule

The tour was set to launch on June 12 in Clarkston, Michigan, with 33 dates across North America, including stops in Kansas City, St. Louis, Orlando, New York City, Chicago, and San Francisco. It was slated to conclude on August 15 in Los Angeles.

Trainor first announced the tour in November, expressing excitement on social media: “GET IN GIRL, WE’RE GOING ON TOUR!! Can’t wait to see you! Let the countdown begin!”

Reasons for Cancellation

“After a lot of reflection and some really tough conversations, I’ve made the difficult decision to cancel The Get In Girl Tour,” Trainor explained. She cited the challenges of balancing a new album release, tour preparations, and welcoming a new baby girl into her growing family of five.

The singer emphasized the need to stay “home and present” for her loved ones. Trainor, who recently discussed undergoing intensive therapy to strengthen her marriage, stated that canceling the summer tour “is the right decision for my family and me right now.”

Apology to Fans and Future Plans

“I know this will come as a disappointment to my fans, and I am so sorry to let you down,” Trainor wrote. She promised supporters she will “be back soon” and eagerly awaits their reaction to her seventh studio album, Toy With Me, releasing on April 24.

“I’m so proud of it, and I’m endlessly grateful for your love and support always,” she concluded.
