Coleen Nolan, the 61-year-old former singer, firmly rejects claims that she is a millionaire with a £5 million net worth. She expresses ongoing concerns about her financial future, revealing struggles that affect her daily life and family farm.

Family Finances Under Scrutiny

During a candid discussion on the Nolans Uncensored podcast with her children Shane and Ciera, Nolan addresses misconceptions about the family’s wealth. Shane notes that many online assume they are “minted,” prompting Nolan to respond passionately: “I hate that, they do. Honestly, I wish to God that was true.”

She continues, “Everything I do, people go, ‘It’s alright for you, you can afford it.’ We are far from millionaires, far, far, far!” Nolan explains that such assumptions frustrate her, especially when unexpected challenges arise, leading to comments like “that’s alright for you, you can afford it” or “you obviously got it free.”

Challenges at the Staffordshire Farm

Nolan discloses difficulties maintaining her beloved Staffordshire farm, where she handles most tasks herself due to budget constraints. “OK, we need to work on the aesthetics, but I am here and I am doing it,” she says. “I just didn’t know it would be this hard. I didn’t realise it would be this hard as in doing it all. Because contrary to what you all believe, I am not a millionaire and I can’t afford staff!”

These issues compound her efforts to pay bills and keep the property running smoothly without hired help.

Impact of ITV Cuts on Loose Women

Nolan’s role on Loose Women faces uncertainty as ITV implements cost-saving measures, taking the show off air for several weeks. Daytime programming bears the brunt of the broadcaster’s financial pressures, resulting in fewer appearances for longtime panellists like Nolan.

She voices fears that her work opportunities may diminish, emphasizing the need to cover essentials like her mortgage payments.
