A ambitious mod project brings The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind into Elden Ring, and developers recently shared impressive new footage highlighting major advancements.

Latest Video Update Highlights Key Areas

Mod creator InfernoPlus released a video dedicated to a skeptic who doubted the project’s completion. The footage tours Morrowind’s iconic starting area, Seyda Neen, and the city of Balmora, recreating them with striking accuracy in the Elden Ring engine.

Players can purchase starter gear from merchant Arrille and enter Addamasartus to free enslaved captives. True to the original game, encounters with slavers prove deadly, as InfernoPlus demonstrates by getting quickly defeated—likely due to ongoing stat adjustments.

Balmora Features and Combat

In Balmora, adventurers join the Fighters Guild and tackle initial quests like rat extermination, escalating to combat with other characters. Iconic moments include mage Tarhiel plummeting from the sky.

NPCs deliver authentic dialogue, hurling insults like “fetcher” while engaging in combat, capturing Morrowind’s gritty essence.

Advanced Systems in Place

The mod implements a complex crime and punishment system, which InfernoPlus compares to “teaching a dog calculus.” Additional features include weapon enchantments and skill training, showcasing deep integration.

Current NPC voices use a basic synthetic style, but full volunteer voice acting remains a priority for release. While more content awaits development, the existing progress delivers a faithful Morrowind experience within Elden Ring.
