Cash and equivalents stood at R$17.5 billion, down from R$27.2 billion. The company reduced debt by R$6.2 billion via debenture and bond redemptions, while securing new long-term funding. Cosan repurchased 52.6 million shares for R$271 million and received insurance proceeds from a Moove plant fire and gains from selling its remaining Vale stake.39

Officials highlighted ongoing deleveraging efforts and liquidity maintenance amid challenges at joint venture Raízen, which entered reorganization; Cosan’s investment there is fully written down with no further obligations.39
