Royal Portrait Unveiled for Milestone Celebration

A new, striking photograph of Crown Prince Hussein and Princess Rajwa has been released, celebrating a significant milestone in their relationship. The Royal Hashemite Court shared an official portrait on Monday, marking the couple’s third wedding anniversary. The image captures the Jordanian royals in a moment of evident affection and shared joy.

A Picture of Elegance and Devotion

Princess Rajwa, 32, is featured in a sophisticated, silky deep teal gown, accessorized with a distinctive wishbone ring and sparkling diamond earrings. Crown Prince Hussein, appearing every bit the proud husband, is dressed in a sharp suit and tie, complementing his wife’s attire. He notably wears a badge shaped like a multi-pointed red star, mirroring the emblem on Jordan’s national flag.

The couple is seen beaming, their body language conveying a tender connection. The Crown Prince has his arm around his wife, while she rests her hand on his, a gesture of deep affection. The formal nature of the portrait has drawn comparisons to a finely crafted painting.

A Royal Union and Growing Family

The couple exchanged vows in 2023 and have since expanded their family, welcoming their daughter, Princess Iman, in August 2024. Crown Prince Hussein, heir to the Jordanian throne, married Rajwa, a Saudi-born architect, in June 2023 at the historic Zahran Palace. As the eldest son of King Abdullah II and Queen Rania, he holds a prominent position in the line of succession.

Their wedding was a notable event, drawing attendance from global monarchies and prominent figures, including members of the British Royal Family and the Middleton family. The subsequent reception at Al Husseiniya Palace hosted over 1,700 guests, featuring cultural performances.

Embracing Parenthood

The announcement of their first child’s arrival in April 2024 was met with widespread warmth. Baby Iman, whose name signifies “faith” or “belief” in Arabic, is named after her paternal aunt. This newborn represents the first grandchild for King Abdullah and Queen Rania.

At the time of their daughter’s birth, Crown Prince Hussein and Princess Rajwa expressed their profound happiness. They shared, “We are overjoyed to begin this new chapter in our lives. Our family is growing, and we are excited to welcome our little one into the world.” The couple frequently shares glimpses of their family life on social media platforms, including updates for Princess Rajwa’s birthday in April.
