Shearer is set to address the most prominent and bold opinions submitted by fans nationwide on a weekly basis. This segment will commence with England’s preparatory matches, beginning with their fixture against New Zealand over the weekend.
During the platform’s launch, Shearer offered a candid response to a football enthusiast who questioned his status as a Premier League all-time great, citing a single league title in 18 years and a managerial stint that concluded with relegation. The fan’s query stated: ‘One Premier League title in 18 years, and an eight-game managerial spell that ended in relegation shouldn’t qualify someone as a Premier League all-time great, should it?’
Shearer retorted, ‘That’s one Premier League title more than you.’
