Katie Price Pulls No Punches in New Documentary Trailer

A revealing new trailer for Katie Price’s upcoming four-part Sky documentary, Katie Price: Nothing To Hide, has dropped, featuring an unexpected lineup of former partners offering their perspectives on the former glamour model’s life.

Surprise Guests Emerge

The trailer showcases appearances from Alex Reid, Gareth Gates, and Dane Bowers, all of whom have played significant roles in Price’s past relationships. Their inclusion suggests a candid exploration of the events that have shaped her highly publicized journey.

Voices from the Past

Gareth Gates, who had a brief relationship with Price after her fling with him when he was just 17, appears with a stern expression. In a voiceover, Price reflects, “I know I’ve hurt people deeply.” Gates previously spoke about reconsidering his career following their liaison, and Price has expressed regret over their past intimacy due to his young age at the time.

Dane Bowers, who dated Price between 1998 and 2000, offers his take on their dynamic: “Kate throws these little bombs and she wants to see what they do.” Price, recalling their relationship, has stated that Bowers was instrumental in teaching her about heartbreak.

Husband’s Candid Remarks

Perhaps the most striking appearance is that of Alex Reid, Price’s ex-husband. Reid, who married the former MMA fighter after a whirlwind romance, directly states in the trailer, “She emasculates me.” Their marriage, which lasted just 11 months, was reportedly impacted by Reid’s cross-dressing alter-ego, Roxanne. The aftermath saw public disagreements, with Reid alleging Price forced him to reveal his cross-dressing and a subsequent legal battle where Price was ordered to pay Reid substantial legal fees and was issued an injunction preventing her from sharing private information.

More Figures to Feature

The documentary will also feature Gary Bolingbroke, Price’s first boyfriend, who reportedly ended their relationship when she was 17. Price herself acknowledges mistakes in the trailer, stating, “I know I’ve made mistakes. It’s very hard to explain me but I’ve got nothing to hide. I am what I am.” She observes footage of herself, remarking, “It’s like watching a movie isn’t it?”

Family and Friends Weigh In

Beyond the former partners, the series promises intimate insights from those closest to Price. Her mother, Amy, is set to provide a candid testimony. Longtime friends Kerry Katona and Michelle Heaton will also appear, with Katona expressing her concerns for Price.

Produced by the team behind acclaimed documentaries, the series aims to offer an unexpected re-evaluation of Price’s three decades in the public eye. “This series doesn’t shy away from – in Katie’s own words – ’the good, the bad and the ugly’,” stated Arron Fellows, co-founder and creative director of Mindhouse. “Paddy and the team have spoken to a range of contributors who have crossed paths with Katie at different junctures of her life… and in doing so have crafted a series that is as jaw-dropping and unpredictable as it is tender and surprising.”

Katie Price: Nothing to Hide is scheduled to premiere on Sky and the streaming service NOW on July 8th.
