Brooklyn Beckham has covered up tattoos dedicated to his siblings Romeo, Cruz, and Harper, shortly after erasing a tribute to his father, Sir David Beckham.
Tattoo Changes Signal Family Estrangement
The 26-year-old, eldest son of Sir David, 50, and Victoria Beckham, 51, continues to distance himself amid an ongoing family rift that also involves his wife, Nicola Peltz, a 31-year-old billionaire heiress. Recent images reveal that Brooklyn inked over the finger tattoos honoring Romeo, 23, Cruz, 20, and Harper, 14. These markings appeared clearly just a week ago in a cooking video he shared.
Earlier this week, photos surfaced showing Brooklyn had concealed his upper right arm anchor tattoo, which once featured the word ‘dad’ and the phrase ‘Love you Bust’—Sir David’s nickname for his firstborn. The area now displays nondescript shapes and a star, with the original text faded.
Tattoos honoring Nicola remain visible across his body.
Plans for Adoption and Large Family
Sources close to Brooklyn and Nicola, who married in 2022, indicate the couple plans to adopt their first child. They envision a ‘brood’ of children, with at least one through adoption.
“This is a subject Nicola and Brooklyn firmly align on: they both want a brood of children, and for at least one to be adopted,” the source stated. “They both know they come from a place of unimagined privilege and therefore strongly want to give back; offer a disadvantaged baby or child the best possible life. They have talked extensively about it.”
Such plans could strain relations further, as David and Victoria have long expressed enthusiasm about becoming grandparents.
Public Statement Highlights Rift
Last month, Brooklyn issued a six-page statement detailing his grievances with his family and stating no interest in reconciliation. He emphasized his satisfaction with his choices: “I wake up every morning grateful for the life I chose, and have found peace and relief.”
He added, “My wife and I do not want a life shaped by image, press, or manipulation. All we want peace, privacy and happiness for us and our future family.”
In a 2022 interview, Nicola shared that Brooklyn eagerly anticipates parenthood. “He wants kids yesterday,” she said, noting they both desire a large family. “We definitely want a big family. He has three siblings, and I have seven.”
