Cruz Beckham releases his latest indie-pop single, For Your Love, drawing clear inspiration from Oasis. The track arrives as a vibrant anthem, reflecting the style of the iconic 90s band.
Oasis Influence and Family Connection
The Beckham family attended the Gallagher brothers’ reunion concert last summer, where Cruz Beckham absorbed elements of crafting stadium-ready tunes. The song captures that energy with its euphoric build and feel-good vibe.
Cruz Beckham shares, “I love this song. It’s been so fun to play live over the last couple of months. For me, it’s all about love and being fearless in that love, but I hope everyone can interpret it in their own way and find their own meaning to it.”
On the track, he channels a Liam Gallagher-esque delivery, singing: “Lose all direction in the midst of limitation, sacrifice my reputation for your love.”
Career Progress and New Sound
This release offers positive momentum for the Beckham family amid tensions with eldest son Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz. Cruz Beckham evolves toward a mature indie-pop style after collaborating with producers Justin Raisen and Lewis Pesacov, known for work with Charli XCX.
Industry recognition grows following his signing with C3 management, which represents The Strokes. For Your Love succeeds last year’s debut Optics and follow-up Lick The Toad.
Upcoming Headline Tour with The Breakers
Cruz Beckham and his band The Breakers launch their debut headline tour in two weeks, featuring multiple sold-out dates, including three nights at London’s The Courtyard Theatre.
He expresses excitement: “I’ve always been inspired by bands who do it the right way, so I wanna get out there and play loads of small gigs. I cannot wait to meet the fans and for them to hear the tracks, I can’t believe people have actually spent their hard earned money to come and see me and my band, so we’re gonna put on a show! ‘I’m so buzzing to have our own banner for The Breakers, we’ve only been a support band so far so this time we get our own banner!’”
Musical Echoes and Potential
The track nods to Oasis classics like The Masterplan and Don’t Look Back In Anger, especially in the soaring middle eight. Traces of Beatles influence and John Lennon attitude shine through Cruz Beckham’s confident vocals, complemented by fluid guitar rhythms.
For Your Love stands as a memorable entry, signaling strong potential for bigger stages ahead.
