Demi Lovato delivered a steamy performance at the 37th Annual GLAAD Media Awards held at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles. The event celebrates key achievements in LGBTQ representation.

Fiery Stage Outfit and Performance

The 33-year-old singer took the stage in a striking red corset paired with skimpy shorts, fishnet stockings, and knee-high black boots. She amplified the intensity alongside dancers in a provocative routine featuring choreographed kissing.

Award Presentation Appearance

Later, Lovato returned to present the Stephen F. Kolzak Award to Matt Rogers and Bowen Yang for their efforts to boost LGBTQ visibility in media. She switched to a chic ruched pastel yellow mini dress with a structured one-shoulder neckline and her black hair in a sleek bun.

Event Highlights

Mean Girls star Jonathan Bennett hosted the ceremony. Quinta Brunson earned the Vanguard Award for her role as an LGBTQ ally. Attendees included Cara Delevingne, Chrishell Stause, Laverne Cox, Lili Reinhart, and Ariana Madix.

Nominated films featured The History of Sound, Kiss of the Spider Woman, Christy, On Swift Horses, and Twinless. TV nominations included Heated Rivalry, The Hunting Wives, Pluribus, Boots, and Overcompensating.

Personal Transformation

Lovato, who identifies as gender fluid, has embraced she/her pronouns recently and shared feeling more feminine. Sober and married to musician Jordan Lutes, she reveals a slimmer figure and long glamorous hair reminiscent of her Disney era. She previously received GLAAD’s Vanguard Award in 2016.

Tour Schedule Adjustments

Last month, Lovato canceled several dates on her It’s Not That Deep tour to prioritize health. Affected cities include Charlotte, Nashville, Atlanta, Las Vegas, and Denver, with Orlando rescheduled to April 13.

She addressed fans on Instagram: “My Lovatics – I am so excited to get back on stage this year and visit you in as many cities as I can. While starting to prepare for the tour, I realized that I have overextended what may be possible. To protect my health, and ensure I can give you my all at each show, I need to build in more time to rest and rehearse and ultimately adjust to a schedule with some more time off that will allow me to handle the entire run of the tour.”

Fan reactions vary, with some expressing disappointment over low ticket sales speculation and others offering sympathy for her health needs.

Last year, Lovato launched her pop return with the single “It’s Not That Deep,” boasting pulsating beats and bold lyrics about nightlife and romance.
