Erling Haaland sits out Manchester City’s FA Cup fourth-round clash with Salford City at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
The forward scored in City’s 3-0 home win over Fulham on Wednesday night but exited at halftime, with Omar Marmoush taking his place.
Haaland, who boasts 29 goals across all competitions this season, deals with a minor disturbance that surfaced before and during the Fulham match.
Guardiola’s Update on Haaland’s Condition
Manager Pep Guardiola shared insights during Friday’s press conference: “Erling’s not 100 per cent but we’ll see today how he feels. It’s not a big issue, the doctor said to me. But had some disturbance before and during the game and that’s why second half he didn’t play. We will see his evolution.”
